Reaper of the Drifting Moon

Great anti-hero story. The only reason I deducted it 1 star was for the stupid choice to make the MC a womanizer in Season 1. The reason why we hated the disciple he assassinated at the start was because he was a womanizer. So I don't know what made the author think it was a good idea to make the MC a womanizer as well after that. Plus it didn't fit his whole persona. He was imprisoned and made to suffer for several years when he was just a kid, but when he got out he just suddenly decided that he wants to sleep with different women? Total buzz kill. 

The action and revenge arcs were killer though. Loved the ruthlessness of the MC.

They toned down the womanizing personality in Season 2 which is great. I hope they completely get rid of it in Season 3, especially for this type of manhwa.

Concerning this comic, I can safely say it stands out from the crowd, my favorite part would have to be the atypical story flow, where you can't quite tell what's gonna happen next, coupled with a relatively morally grey MC, leads to the reader having to take a "Game of Thrones" style approach to caring about characters, as people you like/dislike can unexpectedly die or not die, which I appreciate, it's a nice change of pace from most stories.
Now, having an unfeeling, remorseless MC might lead you to believe this is an edgy teen story where the good guy is into overly sadistic torture-po** against the bad guys, this is NOT that. 
Having said that, if you like a feel-good story where the bad guys get an express-delivery of their comeuppance at the hands of the MC and the MC's close friends all live happily ever after, this is probably not for you, but you'd have to decide for yourself.

As someone who has read quite far ahead of the novel, what you see is pretty much what you get, not much changes in the story structure or characters, you still have the annoying morons who constantly challenge MC, or people who think they can use him, although it becomes less and less. What does pick up later, however(maybe a bit too late..), is the world building, as you actually get to find out more about the world and its factions and relations.
