Pretty good on Monster Girl Plant Diary
So far so good! Interesting take on an isekai that focuses on an overlooked RPG enemy. Writing is decent, art is good, just wish there was more!

Sucks big time on Emperor And The Female Knight
Season 1 is great. You get this great premise of a female knight who wants to be recognised for who she is and a lot of budding friendships as this interesting squad of people is trying to do a small thing of uniting the world. It's written rather well, although it skips the war battles and just concentrates on little snippets of lives of the main characters. 4.5 star rating for that, loved everything about the story back then.
Spoiler!
Season 2 sh*** colossaly on everything first season set up. It should be noted that when uniting the continent the emperor was shown to be very daring and has shown promise of bending the old laws and changing things up, because after all he was the first person to believe in Paulina and to propel her forward because of how capable she is.
Well in Season 2 when we should be seeing slow-burning romance where they work together to stabilise the empire and change things for women, like Paulina herself, because that's what the story originally promised. Well you wish, because instead we see the emperor propelling his wives into beds. Wives in plural because once he realises that he caught feelings for Paulina (scene from the literal start of the story) he goes ahead and...does jackshit about it. His character does a full 180 degrees from the first season and now this person who was shown as the more emotional side of the duo cannot commit to the woman he loves in any way, shape or form. He never takes a risk again (same person! who united a fuc**** continent by taking severe risks!) and just gets drawn into political marriages without much care and forms shallow relationships with bunch of his concubines and knocks them up. What made be furious besides this shallow husk of a character that was once great is that by this point (ch. 80) MC still doesn't even see him as a man. I mean I wouldn't either but romance story yo? Hello?
I have seen reviews upon reviews of 5-star ratings on mangaupdates and goodreads each where people keep upholding this story as the holy grail of its genre. It's like we haven't read the same thing. I am disgusted by this author and what was passed onto us after the wonderful setup in the first part of the story. It's like they took the soul of the story and trampled it to death on the ground. There is nothing left past chapter 80 to even gnaw at, just depression and sadness. If you are into that then go ahead.
